An important day and another major project milestone reached for Future Water, our joint venture with Jones Bros Civil Engineering UK as we deliver the new Havant Thicket Reservoir.
An official groundbreaking ceremony was held where Chief Executives of Portsmouth Water and Southern Water were joined by the Chair of OFWAT, Iain Coucher, and Environment Agency Area Director, Simon Moody, to mark the start of main construction, accompanied by one of Future Water’s apprentices and two pupils from local schools.
