Mackley has launched a new Facebook page as it looks to continue to develop and expand its online presence in 2017.

Launched yesterday (9 January), the page brings together all the latest Mackley news, providing those who ‘like’ it with the opportunity to comment and share their thoughts.

The page also gives followers the opportunity to share Mackley related photos and engage in conversation with employees and others with an interest in construction, flood protection and coastal management.

While the Facebook page is very much at an embryonic stage, it is hoped that it will mirror the success and popularity of Mackley’s Twitter page, which recently reached the milestone of 300 followers.

Launched in 2011, the page has really taken off in the last 12 months. The total of 308 followers is more than triple the figure of this time last year.

Mackley is also reflecting on a year since the launch of its new website. In 2016, the website received almost 60,000 pageviews, from more than 14,900 different users. During the 12-month period the website carried no fewer than 76 news stories about Mackley projects and other company developments and initiatives.

A fortnightly email alert provides an at-a-glance roundup of all the latest company news – anyone wishing to subscribe can do so by visiting the website.

Mackley is also active on both YouTube and LinkedIn.

David Knapp, Mackley’s Business Development Manager, said: “In this day and age a strong online presence is of vital importance for any forward-thinking company.

“Through our website, Twitter and Facebook pages we are now able to share with a wide audience details of the important work we are carrying out on behalf of our clients from the growing range of engineering sectors we operate in.”
