Site Setting Out Engineer (Central)

The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for surveying, setting out and quality assurance monitoring for activities on site. You will be able to use a range of surveying equipment and CAD products to allow delivery of accurate and timely support to site teams. You will be responsible for maintaining the required site records, including QA and as-built information. You will share responsibility for site security, health and safety, and the organisation and supervision of the material and human resources. You will review design proposals and identify clashes, issues and errors as soon as possible to the Site Manager. Also required are knowledge of company procedures, health and safety, engineering techniques and specifications.

Receptionist and PLO Officer

The Receptionist and Public Liaison Officer (PLO) is based locally at the Barking Riverside site office and acts as a point of contact for the client and visitors to the office / site. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with community and stakeholder engagement responsibilities. The postholder will act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff and members of the public, while also supporting project communications, site visits and social value activities. This is a full time role, Monday–Friday, (with flexibility for occasional weekend and evening events).

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the role ensures that day to day operations run efficiently, reliably, and with minimal friction. This is a hands on, connective role – supporting team activity, aligning priorities, and acting as a key liaison where departmental responsibilities overlap. From driving clearer communication to unblocking bottlenecks, the Plant Operations Lead plays a crucial part in keeping the department moving while enabling longer term improvements to take shape.
