Mackley has been accepted as a member of the British Aviation Group (BAG), the leading representative body for UK companies involved in the airport and aviation development sector.
Founded in 1993, BAG helps British companies to win work in the airports and aviation sector, in the UK and internationally, by helping them to showcase their experience and expertise.
Initially founded as an Airports Advisory Group to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), BAG has evolved over the past two decades to become the leading independent representative body for companies in the sector.
BAG membership comprises more than 160 manufacturers and service providers in the airports and aviation sector, who provide products and services for the development of modern, efficient, world-class airports.
BAG says its members operate in more than 180 countries worldwide and have ‘enjoyed notable business success’, winning contracts across almost all of the world’s largest airports.
David Knapp, Mackley’s Business Development Manager, said: “We are delighted to have been accepted for membership of the BAG.
“We will be targeting more airport work in the future, particularly at Gatwick which is located close to our head office and in an area where a significant proportion of our current work is based.
