Mackley is deploying cutting edge technology to achieve first class performance in quality, health, safety and environment – while reducing the need for site visits during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new remote site inspection system is underpinned by a 360-degree camera, which is sent around sites deemed a considerable distance from Mackley’s headquarters in Small Dole, West Sussex.
This includes in Seawick, Essex, where Mackley is carrying out a three-month project to improve the sea defences protecting a popular holiday destination.
The photos taken are then sent back to the quality, health, safety and environment (QSHE) team – who reviews them and provides any required feedback to the site.
