The Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls scheme has been officially opened, with Sir James Bevan, Chief Executive of the Environment Agency, labelling it a ‘genuine success in partnership working’.

A scheme which has significantly reduced flood risk to thousands of properties on the West Sussex coast has been awarded a prestigious national accolade.

A series of walks and presentations have taken place at a flood alleviation scheme in Surrey, to help local school children and residents learn more about the project.

Mackley is currently carrying out a programme of works to repair and improve a half-mile long structure which protects the harbour in the south Devon town of Brixham.

Mackley will use the 2019 edition of Floodex UK to forge new links and strengthen existing relationships within the flood defence and water level management (WLM) sector.

Mackley has successfully completed a project to maintain the structural integrity of the harbour arm in the historic town of Hastings on the Sussex coast.

With work nearly complete, Mackley is entering the final phase of the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls scheme.

Mackley is delighted to announce it has met the Bronze level requirements of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
