Working in behalf of Rother District Council, Fairlight Parish Council and the Environment Agency, Mackley has commenced work on a scheme to provide protection from coastal erosion to the village of Fairlight in East Sussex.

Working as part of Team Van Oord and on behalf of the Environment Agency, Mackley is about to begin a programme of major refurbishment works at East Farleigh Lock on the River Medway.

The Broomhill Sands Coastal Defence Scheme has been shortlisted in a further two categories in the 2016 British Construction Industry Awards.

Mackley has agreed a deal to become the first team kit sponsor of Upper Beeding FC ahead of the 2016/17 season.

The highly-acclaimed Broomhill Sands Coastal Defence Scheme has been named recipient of yet another prestigious industry award – the Brassey Award (Kent & East Sussex) for Engineering Excellence which was presented at the recent ICE South East England Awards Ceremony.

Sir John Armitt, President of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), recently paid a visit to the British Airways i360 in Brighton as part of his two-day presidential visit to the South East England region.
