A project to join up two sections of the Thames Path in Greenwich has been officially opened, with cyclists and pedestrians already taking advantage of the new elevated walkway.

Mackley is pleased to be sponsoring the Beach Dreams Festival 2018, which takes place on Shoreham Beach (13-15 July).

Mackley has completed a project to fill a 28-metre gap in the flood defences in the West Sussex town of Littlehampton – in turn reducing the flood risk for 2,000 homes.

A series of free guided walks around the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls flood defence scheme, organised by Mackley, will take place over the summer months.

An annual six-a-side football tournament, held in memory of a former Mackley employee, has this year raised more than £4k for the St Barnabas Hospice.

Mackley is currently working in the Hampshire city of Winchester, where it is carrying out CCTV surveys on a network of culverts across the city, to reduce the risk of flooding.

Mackley has been approved by the SafeContractor scheme, a requirement for organisations wanting to be registered contractors at Gatwick Airport.

The construction of a new elevated walkway, the central element of a project to join up two sections of the Thames Path in Greenwich, is nearing completion.

Mackley has completed a community project at a primary school in Kent to help pupils develop and learn outside of the classroom environment.

Mackley was on hand to assist the Environment Agency with clearing a 600mm dia storm drain over the Easter weekend, protecting homes and businesses in the Calmore area of Southampton from flooding.
