Work to demolish a now redundant lifeboat station on the West Sussex coast has moved into the marine phase following the arrival of a jack-up barge.

Mackley has agreed to sponsor an interactive one-day event designed to celebrate, and raise the profile of, young people’s achievements in science and engineering.

Following a seasonal break in on-site activities the latest phase of work at the Clay’s Lake Flood Prevention Scheme is now well underway.

More than 50 pupils from Buckingham Park Primary School learnt about the dangers of flooding and what can be done to prevent it, on a recent visit to the Shoreham Adur Tidal Walls scheme.

A new fish pass has been installed as part of a lock refurbishment scheme on the River Medway in Kent, as part of moves to improve the condition of the river and strengthen the fish population within.

Work is underway on a project that will see Mackley carry out a series of improvements to a water treatment works in Kent.

Mackley and the other organisations involved in the creation of the British Airways i360 are celebrating success, after the project picked up no less than three awards at the 2017 RICS South East Awards, including the headline accolade.

Working on behalf of SES Water, Mackley has recently completed a 12-week project to ensure the river intake at a treatment works in Surrey is fish and eel friendly.
