A behind the scenes video has highlighted some of the complexities Mackley overcame during the completion of the Broomhill Sands Coastal Defence Scheme.

Mackley is gearing up for a busy October with preparations underway to participate in a number of industry events across the country focusing on issues including flooding, coastal defence and the future of the construction industry.

The Medmerry Managed Realignment Scheme is being showcased at the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) World Conservation Congress, which is taking place in Hawaii this week (w/c 5 Sept).

Working in behalf of Rother District Council, Fairlight Parish Council and the Environment Agency, Mackley has commenced work on a scheme to provide protection from coastal erosion to the village of Fairlight in East Sussex.

Working as part of Team Van Oord and on behalf of the Environment Agency, Mackley is about to begin a programme of major refurbishment works at East Farleigh Lock on the River Medway.

The Broomhill Sands Coastal Defence Scheme has been shortlisted in a further two categories in the 2016 British Construction Industry Awards.

Mackley has agreed a deal to become the first team kit sponsor of Upper Beeding FC ahead of the 2016/17 season.

Mackley was one of just a handful of companies invited to exhibit at the prestigious 2016 Investinblue event, organised by the National Maritime Development Group and held as part of the International Festival for Business 2016.
