Working on behalf of Bournemouth Borough Council, Mackley has begun a clean-up operation after parts of Bournemouth’s East Cliff collapsed during a landslip in April.

Mackley is supporting a wide range of local sustainability projects by reclaiming and donating disused groynes which are extracted from a number of sea defence schemes.

The Pevensey Bay Sea Defence scheme has received a Gold National Site Award from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for a third consecutive year.

Mackley has seen its ‘dedication and ongoing commitment’ to its employees recognised through Silver level accreditation awarded by Investors in People (IIP).

Around 40 members of the IOSH South Downs Branch recently experienced an ‘enjoyable, interesting and informative site visit’ to see a flood alleviation scheme being carried out by Mackley as part of Team Van Oord.

Working on behalf of the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, Mackley is nearing completion of a year-long project to construct a new staircase and footbridge to the north east side of London Bridge.
