A £20m scheme being delivered by Mackley as part of Team Van Oord* has been presented with the 2015 Environment Agency Exemplar Award.

Local residents have given Mackley a big ‘thumbs up’ for the way it is carrying out a coastal defence scheme in Portsmouth.

The BAR (Ben Ainslie Racing) facility in Portsmouth has been completed and was used in summer 2015 for the second of the America’s Cup Challenge racing series.

A project which saw the rapid restoration of a number of assets damaged by unprecedented flooding, carried out by Mackley working as part of Team Van Oord*, has been nominated for two Constructing Excellence Awards.

The all-conquering *Medmerry Managed Realignment Scheme has begun 2015 in the same vein as it ended 2014 – in the frame for a clutch of prestigious industry awards.

Working as part of Team Van Oord, Mackley is making good progress with a project to replace a weir on the River Medway at Tonbridge in Kent.
