Members of the Medway River Users Association (MRUA) complimented the Mackley project team on a visit to a lock refurbishment scheme on a stretch of the river near Maidstone in Kent.

The Environment Agency has used the recent ‘World Wetlands Day’* to look back at the time when Starry Smoothhound Sharks visited RSPB Medmerry.

Mackley has successfully completed beach management works at Hill Head on the Hampshire coast – phase one of a coastal protection project being carried out on behalf of Fareham Borough Council – with minimal disruption to the local community.
